Monitor network infrastructure, manage incidents, ensure system uptime, and provide timely technical support for Equity Bank's critical systems.
Key Responsibilities: - Monitor network and system infrastructure 24/7 - Respond to and resolve incidents within SLA - Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams - Perform routine maintenance and health checks - Document incidents and resolutions - Participate in change management processes - Generate operational reports and metrics - Maintain operational runbooks and procedures
What you'll do
Required Qualifications: - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field - 2-4 years of experience in NOC or IT operations - Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) - Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds) - Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices - Ability to work in shifts including nights and weekends - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills - Good communication and documentation abilities
Preferred: - CCNA or equivalent networking certification - Experience in banking/financial services environment - Knowledge of cloud infrastructure monitoring
